3 Inch Threaded Stem Caster - 1/2" x 1.5" Threaded Stem - Phenolic Wheel Caster HQ's 24 Series is a very versatile and economic caster. The phenolic wheel is made in the USA and resistant to high shock, hard impact, oils and grease. The wheel is non-marking and can carry heavy loads without damaging the floor. The wheel uses metal only bearing components for temperatures over 180°. Zerk fittings are available in 5, 6, 8 x 2 as well as all 2-1/2 and 3 wide phenolic wheels (Larger Heavy Duty Sizes). The wheel is an economic choice for broad range of applications except for wet applications. Phenolic Wheels are not meant for wet environments as the wheel material tends to swell as the outer tread layer is rolled and cracked. This Swivel Caster section contains a Double Ball Raceway for easier swiveling / turning action. Our Forks are made out of Heavy gauge cold rolled steel for a stronger and longer lifespan. The swivel raceway contains a Raceway Seal to protect the bearings from accumulating dust and debris, and the caster is finished with a zinc coated plating for extra rust resistance and durability.
