3M Fire Barrier Silicone Sealant 2000+ is an elastomeric, ready-to-use, single-component, neutral-cure silicone sealant that cures upon exposure to atmospheric humidity. This sealant is designed to form a flexible firestop seal that also acts as a barrier to airborne sound transmission. Sealant is firestop tested up to 3 hours in accordance with ASTM E814 (UL 1479) and CAN/ULC S115.
- TESTED AND LISTED: Up to 3-hours in accordance with ASTM E814 (UL 1479) and up to 4-hours in accordance with ASTM E1966 (UL 2079)
- REMAINS ELASTOMERIC: Bonds to most common construction materials with +/-13% dynamic joint movement capability
- ONE-PART, SILICONE SEALANT: For use in both through-penetrations and construction joint applications—cures upon exposure to atmospheric humidity to form a flexible seal
- EXCELLENT CAULK RATE: Applied with conventional caulking equipment
- WITHSTANDS CONSTRUCTION CONDITIONS: Durable sealant provides excellent weatherability during construction
