The ABUS 86TI Padlocks have a solid lock body made from Titalium trade; aluminium and special alloy hardened steel shackles with NANO PROTECT trade; coating for extreme corrosion resistance. TITALIUM trade; is based on a special aluminium alloy, a mixture of materials that is extremely durable and lightweight and is similar to the process used in aircraft construction. This contemporary product implementation is also reflected in the product design ‐ all the locks in the TITALIUM trade; series feature an impressive stainless steel like finish. Compared to classic brass padlocks, the locks in the TITALIUM trade; series are around 30% lighter but feature the same level of security, making them excellent value for money. Within a massive lock body is a 6-pin precision cylinder with Para centric keyway giving protection against both forced or manipulative break-ins. The padlocks have a double locking mechanism for additional security and are key retaining. Ideal for indoor and outdoor use.
