To restore your Waterson soft close hinge to its initial settings, follow these steps: 1) **Relieve Tension**: Using a 5mm hex wrench on the numerical panel, press down and rotate the △ symbol to the 'N' position. 2) **Relieve Swing Speed**: Using a 3mm hex wrench, loosen the lock-in side screw. Then, using a 5mm hex wrench, rotate the swing speed control nut from the (-) to the (+) direction. 3) **Relieve Latch Speed**: Using a 3mm hex wrench, loosen the lock-in side screw. Then, using a 5mm hex wrench, rotate the hold-open control nut from the (-) to the (+) direction. 4) **Relieve Hold-Open**: Using a 3mm hex wrench, loosen the lock-in side screw. Then, using a 5mm hex wrench, rotate the hold-open control nut from the (-) to the (+) direction. 5) **Reset Hydraulic Zone**: To adjust the hydraulic zone, use a 3mm hex wrench to control the hydraulic damper and a 5mm hex wrench to adjust the hydraulic zone. The hydraulic damper is loosened in the (-) direction and the hydraulic zone is tightened in the (+) direction. 6) **Adjust Hydraulic Damper**: To adjust the hydraulic damper, use a 3mm hex wrench to turn the hex nut in the (+) direction. 7) **Final Check**: At this point, the door should swing freely with no resistance, like a normal hinge. If you still feel resistance when swinging the door by hand, resolve the door conflict first before proceeding.
