Black Bird Type GMT takes inspiration from the original Fleiger watch. Designed during the 1930s it quickly became one of the most recognizable military pilot watch designs out there.
A large case with large indexes allows for quick and easy reading which is useful when navigating. However, we’ve added our creativity by retrofitting the original design with a GMT movement - recognizable by the second hour hand, which works on a 24-hour timescale.
With this upgrade to the original Fleiger watch, you’ll be able to either track a second time zone or, for the international pilots out there, Greenwich Meridian Time (GMT).
