Air is represented by the sky and wind, since grain is wind-pollinated. Fire is represented by the Sun, the engine of photosynthesis. Water is represented by the rain, which is basic to growth. Earth is represented by the plants themselves. It is a harvest design, designed for Lammas or Lughnasadh, but contemplation of the miracle of the harvest is appropriate to any ritual or meditation. This is a beautiful altar cloth, about 18 inches or 45cm square. professionally printed from my design. All my altar cloths are 2-ply, high quality printed cotton backed by cotton, for a nice weight on the altar. All altar cloths are available, as a special order, in any size up to about 34" square.
