PITTWRAP B100 wrap, a 1.2 mm (47 mil) thick, self-sealing aluminum butyl laminate, is specifically designed to safeguard FOAMGLAS insulation systems. It features a high-tack butyl adhesive and a 3-layer film, comprising an aluminum film sandwiched between two polyester films, ensuring robust resistance and protection against punctures and tears. The polyester layers also shield the aluminum face from corrosion. A protective jacketing is required over the PITTWRAP B100 butyl wrap for UV protection, and it can be sealed using manual pressure without needing a torch or heater.
