This lovely item is an old ceramic lidded box, with a mint/turquoise glaze and gold gilt accents. The design features a quilted or padded effect molded into the ceramic. It has a handle on the lid and decorative gold leaf motifs. It is likely from the mid-20th century, possibly the 1950s. Similar items are often used as trinket or soap dishes. A chip is gone out of one side but otherwise Good condition with visible aging as per the photos
