Arnart company American company had these made in Japan and Germany. This is an antique and Like Green Jasperware this Victorian Lovers Plaque is white on green but it is molded, as one piece, I’ve been told, not in two pieces as Wedgewood pottery does.
This was an estate sale find- and is like new - and in excellent condition- except I barely saw it when I first looked- it does have a teeny tiny repair on the left side, center on the tail end of a flourish. See pics. Price will reflect that now. Still awesome Wedgewood-like jasperware piece. Romance- love- Victorian courtship scene on porcelain- bisque? wall plaque.
