The new, 100% handmade Artway Cotton-Rag paper packs are a fantastic addition to our Indigo handmade range. Each pack, being handmade, is entirely unique, in tone and grain, though overall the paper is a mid texture. For a unique and beautiful surface for your creative ideas, these paper packs are unmatched.Suitable for watercolour, and all painting uses, as well as all dry and soft media - for oil painting, the surface will need to be prepared with gesso. Each sheet is individually handmade and features a fully deckled edge.Created entirely by local artisans in Northern India using traditional paper-making methods, and available in a range of paper sizes from A1 to A5, the Indigo Handmade Cotton-Rag paper comes in packs wrapped in recycled paper. • A6 COTTON RAG PAPER - Our A6 rag paper packs contain 60 sheets of 100% cotton watercolour paper, each sheet individually handmade, featuring deckled edges, with natural variations in texture, size, and shape between each sheet.
• 250GSM MID TEXTURED SURFACE - A heavyweight 250gsm paper with a mid-surface texture, suitable for watercolour and all painting uses, as well as all dry and soft media - for oil painting, the surface will need to be prepared with gesso.
• ARTS AND CRAFTS APPLICATIONS - Our cotton paper is also fantastic for various other arts and crafts applications such as unique wedding stationary, greeting cards and bookbinding. A wonderfully versatile and unique paper.
• COTTON RAG PAPER PACKS - Our 250gsm mid texture cotton rag paper packs are available a variety of sizes. Packs come in A1, A2 and A3 (20 sheets), A4 (35 sheets), A5 (50 sheets) and A6 (60 sheets).
• HANDMADE/100% RECYCLED/ACID FREE - Made by local artisans in Northern India from 100% recycled cotton, using traditional paper-making methods; the packs come wrapped in recycled kraft paper. The paper is also 100% acid free.
