If you have both (slotted end style cable bits) and a K40 K50 K375 K380 K400 K3800 tools and equipment cutter and Head for 3/8" & 1/2" cables with a 5/8" CABLE END, (not Cable Size) it's a whole lot easier to just adapt the end of your cable instead of using two different machines to get the job done. The cutter bit pictured in2, 3 & 4 does not come with the adapter, it's just to show you what it would look like in operation.
