(Gustav Leonhardt) The harpsichordist, conductor and organist Gustav Leonhardt was considered a pioneer of historical performance practice. Between 1968 and 1978 he made harpsichord transcriptions of several of Bachs compositions for unaccompanied violin or violoncello.
