This Hurst & Co. edition, inscribed 1888, features beautifully detailed engravings and captures the spiritual symbolism that has inspired generations of readers.
Overall fair condition for its age:
• Cover: pretty decorative cover with fairly heavy wear, see pictures. Inner hinge of front cover has been taped
• Spine: lovely design, faded gilt, marks and wear/fraying at ends
• Pages: some age marks, folded corners and small tears. Page 113/114 have been taped back in and is frayed around the edges. Several pages have scribbling in pencil (heavy on one page, see picture)
• Edges: age marks and darkening
