Champion Cutting Tool's DT22HEX Drill and Tap combination is the perfect tool for the electrical, maintenance, industrial, construction, and automotive industries. The special tapered neck significantly reduces drill and tap breakage, unlike other similar tools on the market. 135* split point prevents drill from walking and allows hole and thread to be cut at high speeds. The DT22HEX is ideal for drilling and threading aluminum, steel, stainless steel, bronze/brass, cast iron, and zinc. Champion Cutting Tool Brute Lube Wax or Fluid is recommended for optimal results. For proper use 1) Start by drilling hole at medium speed and apply constant pressure 2) Once the drill has passed through the material, reduce the speed. The tap portion will feed itself. 3) Once the tap has completed threading, put the power tool in reverse to withdraw the tool.
