These 3/4" N.P.T. plugs, when installed in the water passage holes of Small Block and 90° V6 Chevy engine decks, significantly minimize upper cylinder wall distortion. Prior to installation, water holes must be tapped, and the block should be decked afterwards. The plugs also limit water flow to the cylinder heads by reducing the size of water passage holes to 5/16". They are packaged six to a kit.
