Initially, these tracks were poems, a self-imposed challenge for Margolin. Unlike songs, poems lack musical distractions, leaving words to stand alone. 'Clouds In The Sky' (2024), Porridge Radio's first new music in two years, was recorded in Somerset's countryside by Dom Monks. Inspired by burnout, industry experiences, relationship breakdowns, and artistic growth, this UK band's album captures a frenetic, desperate love and its lingering effects. Songs evolved, like 'In A Dream I'm A Painting', reflecting new perspectives. Recording was intense, with emotional outbursts, but also nurturing, filled with communal meals and a beautiful setting. Today, Dana sees 'Clouds' as a creative breakthrough, capturing their friendship and growth, teaching them to trust instincts and each other.
