It's a custom astronomical quadrant with equal hours and a calendarium tailored to specific latitudes. Choose your closest latitude and opt to include stars (up to four). Allow approximately 14-20 working days for delivery.This double-sided tool facilitates more than just distance estimation. It enables angular size measurement and computation of distance, height, depth, altitude, or elevation. It also allows sine, cosine, and tangent calculations for given angles using its built-in trigonometry.The reverse side boasts features inspired by ancient astrolabes, including a degree and slope quadrant, shadow square, sine and cosine arcs, and an inclinometer scale with horary lines. This side enables sun altitude measurement, time-taking, and daylight hour visualization over a year. Multiple sighting methods and trigonometric operations are possible with the provided string and scales, making it an incredibly versatile instrument with over 75 applications.Using this tool, you can determine latitude at night with Polaris, calculate daily declination, and measure sun altitude.
