The Chelsea boot reworked and reimagined. An experiment that questions the nature of traditional silhouettes and recontextualizes industrial design history through a modernist lens. Retaining the classic slip-on elasticated gussets with the addition of a front facing water-resistant AquaGuard zip enclosure. The Chelsea boot form has been distorted with contrasting material panels to create textural contradictions. The construction prioritizes soft, full-grain Lunar leather for flexibility and durability. With hardwearing Sorento leather and flexible, tear-resistant Cosmo Hub Ripstop panels. Finished with scuff and water-resistant TecTuff rubber-grained leather across the toe and heel. The boot is set on the new DMXL outsole formed from an EVA compound base to reduce weight and improve comfort fitted with PVC pods for increased resilience.
