Beautifully handcrafted Dresden plate quilt. Feed sack fabric plates in subtle tones with vibrant red squares between rows. Someone took their time piecing this beauty together. Fabric used dates this piece likely to 1930-1940. This quilt is in great condition, especially considering its age. There is one rough spot, a few areas with missing fabric, and spots that could use some minor stitching repairs. This quilt was filthy when I found it. It has been hand washed with extreme care in Retro Wash twice and rinsed with a cold salt water soak to remove any further dirt and Retro Wash residual . It was air dried indoors to avoid fading by the sun.
