Floor Receptacle - Recessed - Brass

The floor receptacle R01BFN is a kit that includes the box and a brass cover. This floor receptacle is a one gang recessed floor box ideal for spaces where few receptacles or low voltage connectors are needed. It is suitable for wood and raised floor applications. While most floor receptacles available in the market are installed flush with the male power plugs protruding from the floor, the R01BFN floor receptacle is recessed into the floor providing a concealed and safe installation preventing trip hazard and keeping dust out of the outlets. Since it is a single compartment box, power and low voltage connectors cannot be combined. A standard duplex receptacle or a GFCI receptacle can be used for power. If the box is needed for data and other low voltage connectors, a decora insert with up to six ports for keystones jacks (HDMI, RJ45, RJ11, USB, etc.) can be installed. The box is made of 16GA galvanized steel and powder coated to ensure durability and reliability. The solid Brass cover with a brushed finish has straight edges providing a flush finish with the final floor level. The cover can also rest on top of the finishing floor without the risk of tripping hazard thanks to its 3/16” (ADA Compliance) frame thickness. NOTE: Solid brass is a high quality material. Brass alloy is a less quality material that we do not use on our products. Cover is ADA compliant.
