These spoons combine HOPKINS famous hammered finish with the exciting action of traditional spoons. A future advance is that they are ported in the "gill region" to permit the passage of water as in a living fish; to provide a more natural swimming action; and to reduce trolling drag. All parts are stainless steel. The Red and white models have a hard durable baked epoxy finish over the stainless steel. These spoons are designed as medium to slow trollers. They have been affective for bluefish, striped bass, kind mackerel, cobia, wahoo, salmon, snook, roosterfish, northern pike and muskie. They have been exceptional producers of amberjack and grouper when trolled deep on wire line.
