Ideal Security’s 1614 Storm Door Closer Bundle for lightweight storm or screen doors offers secure, smooth closing and essential protection against wind damage. This convenient kit combines the trusted 1631 Pneumatic Door Closer with our Wind Chain Model 14, making it the perfect all-in-one solution for aluminum, steel, or wood storm doors. Compatible with door thicknesses from 3/4" to 1 ¼”, the pneumatic closer is both easy to install and customizable to your preferences. The intuitive bracket design and built-in speed adjustment screw allow for automatic closing strength control. This lightweight closer can be used as a replacement for previous closers or as a first-time installation. If replacing an existing unit, install it in the same location. For first-time installs, the closer can be positioned at the top, middle, or bottom of your door. The 1614 bundle includes the pneumatic door closer, wind chain, jamb bracket, door bracket, screws, pins, and all necessary parts for installation. The included wind chain, made of high-quality plated steel, helps prevent door and hardware damage caused by overextension in strong winds.
