Lindstrom EX7890 EX Chain Nose Plier

The long jaws of these Lindstrom long chain-nose pliers provide both greater access to tight areas and a longer contact surface for better grip—ideal for opening and closing jump rings as well as flat crimping and making angled bends. Both jaws are semi-round with flat interior surfaces, tapering to a point from the pivot to the tip. Smaller than the tools in the RX line but built for heavier-duty work, EX pliers are ideal for use with heavy-gauge metals and harder metals such as brass or bronze. These pliers have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a screw is set through both halves. The screw allows the joint to be adjusted as needed. The double-leaf spring consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each of the tool handles, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed, delivering a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity. The wider, thicker handle grips, made with resin composite, are both ergonomic and ESD-safe (any electrostatic discharge is safely dissipated). All Lindstrom tool handles are latex-free.
