The Puma LaMelo Ball MB.03 Blue Hive is a basketball shoe with a slime-inspired look designed as a collaboration with Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball.
This version of the Puma LaMelo Ball MB.03 is made with a breathable knit textile upper. Most of the upper appears in black, while jagged scratches reveal Electric Peppermint blue underneath. A synthetic black mudguard rounds out the toe box and features "DiP" in red on the inner forefoot. The cushioned heel is black and bears Puma branding in blue as well as LaMelo Ball.
Our favorite feature of this shoe is that the midsole is infused with NITRO nitrogen-injected foam in order to provide lightweight cushioning and responsiveness. The Puma LaMelo Ball MB.03 Blue Hive was released on December 8, 2023, for $130.
