Pulsewave Octave is a waveshaping octave pedal. This pedal will excite your input signal into a waveshape similar to a pulse wave. The higher the amplitude of the input, the narrower the pulse width of the shaped signal. At lower gain settings the Pulsewave Octave sounds similar to a traditional octave, but with its own distinctive tone and hashing distortion effect.
The Pulsewave Octave’s excitation effect scales in proportion to the amplitude, sounding like multiple octaves in series. As gain is applied, the signal develops more and more high frequency pulse-like content.
THIS PEDAL REQUIRES A 9VDC CENTER NEGATIVE POWER SUPPLY WITH A 2.1MM PIN CONNECTOR. NO BATTERY OPTION. TRUE BYPASS.
