New Orleans Second Line Umbrella in White with Iridescent Tinsel. See the additional photos for the MEDIUM parasol size with a customer. The medium size is 24 inches across the open bottom and 19 inches from the ball topper to the hook handle. It is smaller than a standard rain umbrella, but it is the most popular and the traditional size of a second line umbrella. The large/ full sized umbrella is about 31 inches across the open bottom and about 25 inches from the top to the hook handle. Feathers are cleaned and fluffed before being added to the umbrella. IT IS NORMAL for some feathers to come loose during shipping. They are a bit like human hair- some may come out, but there is no need to worry and you will never know the difference. Once removed from packaging, take it outside for a good shake to remove the feathers. Leave it open in the outdoor breeze or even a blow dryer will refluff it again, beautifully!
