"PACHINCO MAN" by BOOGIE MAN was released in 1994 by Teichiku Records (now Teichiku Entertainment) and was their first major hit, a dancehall tune. Based in Osaka, the song uses the "Naniwa intonation" (Osaka dialect) and humorously and cynically uses pachinko as its theme, with the lyrics "Jan Jan Baribari~". The song remakes the "ANSWER" riddim from Jamaica and is a foundation tune and standard song that has made a great contribution to the spread and development of Japanese reggae to this day.
Limited edition. Comes with a sleeve. The sleeve features a hand-drawn illustration by SASSAFRASS, a legendary reggae & dancehall illustrator from Jamaica. Includes an explanatory manuscript by Mr. Takeshi Fujikawa, former editor-in-chief of "Reggae Magazine".
