Balboa BP2000G1 Spa Pack PN 56377-02Balboa BP2000G1 Digital Spa Controller (Spa pack) for Tubs with Multiple Pumps. This one of the higher end spa packs from Balboas the most recent BP series spa pack. This specific unit can support 8 different configurations that do not utilize a circulation pump and 10 configurations that do. Supports up to three 2-speed pumps. This spa pack is most often used with a 240 volt 3-wire service (with neutral) but it can also be used with a 2-wire 240 volt service (no neutral) if all load devices are 240 volt. Heater element (Incoloy 800) will produce 5.5 kW. Used with standard 2 piping or 1-1/2 piping if adapters are installed. The spa pack, if bought on its own would be targeted as a direct replacement for the same type that has failed. It can replace other Balboa spa packs such as a VS520SZ or EL8000/2000/2001 or ones supplied by Gecko, Hot Springs, Len Gordon, Hydro Quip, etc., only if bought as part of a retrofit kit (which this item is not). Unit has real time clock with battery backup to allow programming of filter cycles by time of day. Other features include freeze protection, ready and rest heating modes, two temperature ranges (high and low) and self-diagnostics as well as optional Wi-Fi capability. With the 3-wire service, all receptacles (except light) can be switched to supply 120 Volts or 240 Volts. If used as a direct replacement, ensure you have the white wires and the DIP switch set to match the old settings. Unit comes complete with: 2 x 2 heater tail pieces. Comes with a 2-year warranty. Requires 4-pin TP or SpaTouch series top side controller and can also use 6-pin AX series auxiliary panels as well as the BWA Wi-Fi transceiver.
