OTC 6768 Glow Plug Release Tool

OTC's No. 6768 Glow Plug Release Tool is designed to safely remove and install glow plug harnesses on 2004 to 2009 Ford 6.0L diesel engines. Manufactured from heavy duty stamped and formed steel - coated to prevent corrosion. Tool can be reshaped by user to work around heater box clearance issues on select vehicles. Similar to Ford No. 303-1114. NOTE: As these vehicles get older, the long term effects of high underhood temperatures cause plastic components, including the glow plug harness caps, to become brittle. To maximise the effectiveness of this tool, ensure that the tool is fully seated on the cap, achieving the greatest contact area possible, reducing the risk of breakage on these older, brittle components.
