Dragon has previously crafted excellent 1/35 scale Panzer III tanks, such as the Ausf.E (Item No.6631) and Ausf.F (Item No.6632). Now, they've introduced the inaugural Panzer III Smart Kit, a remarkable model depicting the Ausf.H variant, the first to feature a 5cm Kw.K L/42 cannon. Initially, an order for 759 Ausf.H tanks was placed in January 1939, but only 308 were produced by April 1941 before the Ausf.J's production began. To accommodate the larger gun, the tank's turret was redesigned, and a turret basket was added to the rear. Additionally, extra armor plates were affixed to the rear, glacis, and front superstructure of the hull. Mechanically, the tank received a new transmission with redesigned sprocket and idler wheels.
