The 1200 models use a 1131cc 2-stroke triple cylinder engine with the same 84mm bore and 68mm stroke producing 135 horsepower with triple Mikuni BN44 carburetors. This gasket seals the connection between the carburetor and the intake manifold. On 2-stroke engines any air leak at the carburetor allows unmetered air into the crankcase causing lean running overheating and piston damage.
