The origami elephants were sealed with several coats of sealer and non-yellowing satin varnish to add durability and protect them from moisture. But they are not waterproof, so do not submerge the earrings in water, or wear them to go swimming or taking showers.
- Each earring was made with an origami paper folded elephant in a royal blue, red, white, purple & green color Chiyogami Japanese paper, paired with 2 iridescent glass beads on gold colored shepherds-hook with ball end ear-wire.
- The length of the earring from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the elephant is 1.5″. The width of the elephant is about 1.13″.
