It is CNC machined from aircraft quality billet 6061 T-6 aluminum. The seal surface portion is made of heat treated chromoly steel which is nickel plated and unique to RPM. This steel surface is far superior to our competitor's aluminum surface which can become grooved by the seal's abrasion with dirt and grit, potentially contaminating the bearings and leading to bearing failure. The locknut portion of the anti-fade also utilizes the same type of hardened steel thrust insert, where it presses against the lock ring, thereby eliminating the possibility of the lock ring gouging into the aluminum and working loose. Yet another RPM exclusive. New snap rings are included. It will fit your stock axle.
- RPM anti-fade brake hubs are made to replace the original Honda brake hub and lock-nut assemblies. The anti-fade brake hubs are designed to use oem compatible brake rotors.
- There is no warranty available for the anti-fade brake hub. They are guaranteed to work on the axle and quad they are specified for.
- Due to the axle configuration, RPM only makes anti-fade brake hubs for Hondas.
- Assembly includess: 1) snap ring (Honda lock nut), 1) adjusting rod, 1) Honda TRX 450R anti-fade hub, 1) Honda TRX 450R anti-fade nut.
