Package Including1 x Fuel Water Separating Filter 4 x Aluminum head with brass fittingsTo Drain Water1. Loosen self-venting drain plug to drain water from bowl into a container.2. Tighten drain screw.3. Use primer bulb to fill filter with fuel.4. Start engine and check ensure there is no leaks.To Replace Element1. Loosen self-venting drain plug and drain the element into a container.2. Remove bowl from filter element and clean o-ring gland on bowl. Please note the BOWL IS REUSABLE,do not dispose unless broken.3. Wipe O-ring gland clean,and coat bowl's seal O-ring with fresh oil or grease and place it back to the gland.Then tighten the bowl onto filter element firmly.4. Fill filter/bowl assemble with clean fuel and attach onto mounting bracket, tighten by hand.5. Start engine and check to ensure there is no leaks.Attention:1. Make sure you remove both the filter and the filter bowl from the mounting housing and put a light film of fuel on the o-ring.As delivered it will leak without the lubrication to allow for the proper crush.2. For diesel transfer tank to filter the fuel before it enters the main tank.You have to make sure to get the proper sealant for the threads. For The First time installation,in order to avoid any leaking at the threads.You'd better get some thread paste since the tape might plug the injectors if it were to come loosen.3.Check and replace regularly.Periodically check fittings and filter element for leaks.Frequency of water fraining or filter replacement is determined by the contamination level in fuel. Inspect or drain the collection bowl of water daily and replace the filter annually, whichever comes first. 4. Please Check the fitment and replace part number before ordering.
