The Sea to Summit UltraLight Insulated Women’s Air Mattress is a warm, lightweight 3-season sleeping pad for backpacking, bike touring, and fast and light pursuits. Its Air Sprung Cell construction mimics a spring mattress, maintaining more body contact area and even dispersion of pressure for restful backcountry slumber. At 2 inches thick, the sleeping pad features a single-layer of cells, providing a comfortable sleeping surface of minimal packed size and weight; pad is shaped specifically for women, cut narrower at the shoulders and wider around the hips and knees. The multi-function reversible valve allows for fast and easy inflation—with the integrated Airstream Pumpsack which inflates the pad in just a few breaths—one-way deflation for quick packup, and fine-tuning of air pressure for a good night’s sleep. The insulated pad features Thermolite insulation which lofts up inside the Air Sprung Cells to prevent convective heat loss to the cold ground (women’s pads have a thicker layer of insulation than unisex pads), as well as Exkin Platinum reflective fabric which radiates heat back during sleep (R-Value of 3.5—the higher the R-value, the warmer the sleeping pad). Non-slip 30D/40D nylon face fabric is durable and quiet.
