Sterling Turtle Pin Tortoise Sea Genuine Emerald Ruby Sapphire Vermeil Move

From my own collection - late 80's - when I would go to the Tucson Gem show every year I would treat myself to one of these lovely's. I'd collect a different one each year. I might have another one listed - birds I think. This one is one of my favorites - his little legs and tail all move. The base metal is sterling - the over coat is 14kt gold overlay. They are genuine rubies sapphires and emeralds. I think (if I remember right) the clear stones are white sapphire crystals. This one can also be worn as a pendant as there is a bail on the underside. This piece is the only turtle I have. It measures 1.25" long and 7/8" wide. The larger stone in the head is also sapphire. These are all beautiful works of art and if you never told anyone they would assume it's all gold. I've never worn any of them so this one too is minty condition.
