This sweatshirt was created in collaboration with a Wakayama prefecture factory that still operates the only "tsuri-ami-ki" (loopwheel knitting machine) in the world, which was used to knit vintage sweatshirts, preserving the quality of the time.
The fabric, slowly knitted on the precious loopwheel knitting machine, utilizes the weight of the threads and fabric itself, thanks to the machine suspended from the ceiling. This process avoids applying excessive tension to the fabric, and by taking its time, it creates a unique texture with a moderate unevenness, as if air is woven into it.
