This TB Woods Type JA Sure-Grip quick disconnect bushing with a torque capacity of 55,000 in-lbs is made of powdered metal steel and is used for mounting a quick disconnect pulley, sheave, or sprocket on a drive shaft. It is split through the flange and taper to provide strong clamping on the shaft. The bushing is made of sintered powder steel for greater strength and wear resistance than plain carbon steel.
