The RUT906 is a rugged 4G LTE industrial router designed specifically for IoT and M2M applications where serial communication, high reliability and flexible connectivity are required. As a solution from Teltonika Networks, it combines modern mobile technology with industrial interfaces. The router supports 4G LTE Cat 4, is backward compatible with 3G and 2G and offers high resiliency thanks to dual SIM with automatic failover, backup WAN and intelligent switching scenarios. This means that the data connection remains stable and available even in the event of network problems. The RUT906 is particularly suitable for industrial applications thanks to its RS232 and RS485 serial interfaces, as well as support for popular industrial and IoT protocols such as MQTT, BACnet and OPC UA. In addition, digital inputs and outputs (I/Os) as well as Ethernet are available to connect a wide range of devices and systems directly. An integrated GNSS module (including NTRIP support) ensures precise location, time synchronization and tracking applications.
