This adapter kit changes the trouble prone stock linkage which is not reliable due to independent body & drivetrain movement. The new bracket is bolted to the transmission & transfer case eliminating any negative movement. The heavy duty adapter kit is designed to provide problem free shifting even under extreme conditions. This kit includes an adjustable torque shaft rod for fine tuning the linkage to the transfer case lever.
