The Complete History of Scenario Paintball: Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the first scenario paintball game Paperback – February 23, 2026

In 1985 Wayne Dollack hosted the first known themed paintball event called "Operation Cash In Action" in Ocala, Florida. Wayne later introduced complex storylines, roleplaying characters, missions and a host of other unique aspects to the games he produced, that we now refer to as "scenario games." Dollack would inspire so many other scenario game produces, like Diane "Mother" Howe, Patrick "Pacman" McKinnon, Kerry "Viper" Rosenberry, Spiro "Black Cat" Mamaligas and literally hundreds of other producers around the world who have created and continue to create large-scale scenario paintball games and events.This magazine is a celebration of 40 years of scenario paintball and a detailed history of the scenario and big game scene from 1985 to current times. And it is told through the stories and photos of those that were present for all of it.
