Pellin Broca Prisms facilitate separation of laser beam harmonics or compensation for group velocity dispersion. Light enters and exits the prism near Brewster's angle, reducing reflection losses in p-polarized light. After one total internal reflection, the angle between input and exit beams is 90° plus a small dispersion-induced angle, which is less pronounced for longer wavelengths.
