This Vintage Mary Frances Top Lift Flutter By Box Bag from the early 90’s is a piece of wearable art! Featuring a box structure in the shape of a butterfly with hand beading, large center stones and wings in relief, with a top that lifts off and is attached to the strap. This style of bag was one of the first designed by Mary Frances and is truly a piece of art, you will not find another bag like this one, it is very special!
Details:
Exterior – Wooden butterfly box with hand beading, stones, antique bronze antennas, antique bronze and fabric chain and a top lift closure.
Interior – Beige box interior.
Condition – Good vintage condition. This bag is over 30 years old and has some wear. Some missing purple trim beads, a small crack in the side of the lift off top and some smudges on the back.
