Vintage 1970's Ruth Stein Art Pottery Vase Jun Kiln Glaze Mid Century Modern Signed On Base
This piece is from our large collection of all things vintage.
This vase was made by Ruth Stein (well known & listed maker).
It was purchased in the 1970's at the Coach House Art Gallery that was in Indian Village, Detroit, Michigan.
Stands 6" tall with a circumference of 11".
2" Where the vase narrows with a 1/2" opening fully glazed on the inside.
Dramatic color and glaze method on this stunning vase.
Striking deep cobalt blue 2" from the base up.
Then the glaze changes on an immediate line into muted, beautiful rose and "burnt" maroon shades.
Amazing color contrast.
Excellent condition.
Truly a wonderful piece of studio mid century pottery.
On the base is embossed "Ruth Stein" with four 1/4" felt circles.
